We don’t just install new fences. We also fix em! Most common fence repairs are broken, rotted posts and blown down wood sections.

Send us a picture of your broken fence!

Life’s too short for bad fences and open yards. 😎

A great fence should do more than mark a property line—it should add privacy, security, and a finished look to your home. 🔨🏡

Everybody wants to scale, but often the smaller crews bring the most value… we’re a mean, lean, fence building machine💪🏼

After seeing fences around Sioux Falls for years, these are some of the biggest mistakes I notice:

1. Posts that aren’t set deep enough. South Dakota weather and frost are unforgiving. Your fence is only as strong as what’s underground. Going past the frost line is key.

2. Posts that aren’t properly set in concrete. Eventually, you start seeing leaning and movement. If you simply drive a post, that is a temporary fence.

3. Cheap materials. I notice this most in vinyl and wood. Don’t buy vinyl from Lowe’s or the big box stores, and use true cedar, not pine or others. Saving money here can cost you when those South Dakota winds show up.

4. Poorly built gates/ incorrect hardware. Sagging, dragging and gates that won’t latch are some of the most common problems we see.

5. Not accounting for the slope of the yard. That’s how you end up with awkward gaps underneath or an uneven-looking fence. Do not step your panels. The fence should roll along the slope of the ground.

6. Wood pickets installed incorrectly. Bad spacing, poor fastening and rushed installation become much more noticeable as the wood ages.

7. Ignoring drainage around the fence. Standing water and constantly wet soil can shorten the life of your fence dramatically.

8. Focusing only on how it looks on Day 1. A new fence SHOULD look good. The real question is how it’s going to look after 5, 10 or 15 Sioux Falls winters.

Around here, your fence has to handle wind, snow, frost and everything in between. Build accordingly. 🌬️❄️
