General information
The camp was established and built in 1956 by the original 4 members – Park Hirneisen, Dallas Hirneisen, Gerry Keith, and Ray Long. The cabin could be considered "primitive", since we have no electric or running water. Over the years, membership has fluctuated and has been as high as 17 members. Unfortunately, and as is with many upstate camps today, we are now down to only 5 shareholders. In 1966, the front porch was enclosed and is now the kitchen. In 1979 the side addition was added. In addition to the numerous bucks taken over the years, we’ve had 3 bear killed at the camp: 1979 – 254 lb. Sow taken by Craig Long 1986 – 205 lb. Sow taken by Lowell Imhoff 2010 - 105 lb. Sow taken by Troy Hagy
