Construction contractor is looking for Irrigation Technicians to join our service team. Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing and/or servicing irrigation systems to project plans and specifications.

Requirements

• 2 year of irrigation experience

• Can read plans
• Reliable transportation
• Punctual, regular attendance

• Clean driving record
• Able to lift and carry 60 lbs
• Able to bend, kneel, walk and stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities Include:
Install new mainline, laterals, valves, couplers and heads. Troubleshoot and repair system problems (fix leaks, repair damaged sprinkler heads, etc.) as well as Winterizing and Start-up. Other duties may include landscape planting, groundskeeping, and erosion control.

Class A CDL Dump Truck/ Lowboy Driver

Our dump truck driver is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of over-the-road lowboy, dump trucks, and trailers for various applications including the hauling and dumping of aggregates and spoils for commercial excavation, earth moving, site preparation, road building, and utility projects. Truck drivers are also responsible for loading, securing, and moving heavy equipment between job sites.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities and Duties

Safely and efficiently drive and operate well maintained Dump truck and trailer.
Deliver products to jobsite.
Spread and stockpile per order.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Valid CDL Class A license required.
5+ years proven truck driving experience
Clean driving record with no moving violations.
Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide previous employment records.

Heavy Equipment Operator

A-1 Landscaping and Construction, Inc. is a Civil Construction Firm Specializing in the Creation and Renovation of sports fields, city parks, wetland mitigations, infrastructure and roads projects

We are currently seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to operate various pieces of Landscape and Construction equipment.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience operating large excavators and dozers and some general mechanical knowledge of machinery. Applicants must have the ability to comprehend detailed plan sets, with the skill set to utilize heavy machinery to carry out and execute subgrade slopes. Knowledge of lasers, land surveying, safety procedures, prior superintendent and foreman experience is a plus.

Drug testing is a condition of employment.
95% of work pays prevailing wage.
