Hello Everyone! Welcome to our page! Hocks Construction & Remodeling located in Somerset, Pennsylvania. We are a family owned business and proud of it! Our logo was inspired by our 3 beautiful huskies. Which if you know us, you know our dogs. They are very well known around this area. They are Madison, Athena, Akira and our sweet baby boy Gunnar past away of cancer December 5, 2024. We miss him dearly. He was very loved around this community for who knew us, knew him. If you don’t know much about my family hello and welcome. This last year my husband and I decided to try something new. While we are still doing our other jobs, Jerry had the idea of creating his own business and really wanted to help people and build beautiful creations with his two own hands. To create something to be proud of that one day we can hand down to our son. He also wish to do this as partners, which I’m so happy to be a part of. It’s just like all the remodeling we did together years back with our house, doing work for others together. And with that, here I am excited to be on this journey together as husband and wife. And as soon as we planted our two front feet on the construction world, is as quick as some jobs have come to us! And that’s a very big blessing in itself! Thank you all for all your support so far. To continue on….our son Channing is 12 years old. He will be 13 this August. He is a beast of a baseball player. He will be starting senior league this year along as two travel ball teams, flood city travel ball team, and mizfits travel ball team. Channing is also a big football loving player and he also plays basketball. So he keeps us on our toes!
We also have two rescue cats Squiggles and ember and a beautiful horse Diego! I was born and raised here in Somerset, while my husband was born ajd raised in centre county bald eagle area. Channing was born in Centre county. We moved back here about 6/7 years ago now after spending 7 years in Centre County Penn State area. With a little bit of background on us and that all being said….spring/summer job opportunities are coming in, so if you want an honest, contracting company that’s going to look out for you and your family and your dollar, we are your family! We do free quote walk ins for every family where we can go over all of your plans honestly with you, and help you decide what works right with you and your family. We work for you and will always show up to our jobs and finish our jobs! There’s so many companies around now that just simply don’t show. That’s so disappointing. If we can’t do something, we will be 💯 % honest about it and not commit to jobs we cannot do without a subcontractor who can!
