A little curb appeal can go a long way.

This front entrance was ready for a change.

The old stone steps and dated metal railing were starting to show their age, so we gave the entire entrance a fresh new look.

We rebuilt the stairs and landing with composite decking, added new white PVC trim to the framing, and it off with our favorite choice of railings, white with black balusters. The result is a much cleaner, more modern entrance that completely changes the first impression of the home.

Sometimes you don’t need to change the whole house to make a big difference. Updating one area — especially the entrance — can completely change the look and feel of your home.

🏠 Condo Overhaul — Still A Work In Progress!

This condo has already gone through a pretty big transformation, and we’re not done yet!

We started by installing the kitchen cabinets and crown molding, then opened up the wall between the kitchen and living room to give the space a much more open feel.

From there, we installed LifeProof Inman Lake Oak flooring throughout the entire downstairs and upstairs, along with brand new baseboard throughout the entire condo.

It’s amazing what a few changes can do to a space. The new flooring, updated kitchen, and opened-up layout have completely changed the feel of this home without needing to completely overhaul everything.

And we’re not finished yet… 👀

Another deck is just about wrapped up!

This is actually **one of three separate decks we’re building for this customer**, and we’re completely finished with this one besides getting the last stair rail installed.

For this deck, the customer went with **PVC decking, white PVC-wrapped framing, white railings with black balusters**. The black balusters are one of my favorite parts of this setup because you can see right passed them and they don’t make the deck feel so closed in. It actually makes the deck feel bigger and more open while still giving it a clean, finished look.

We also wrapped all of the exposed framing in white PVC, which gives the deck a much cleaner appearance and helps keep everything looking good without the maintenance that comes with exposed wood.

We’ve still got two more decks to finish up at this house, so we’ll be sharing those as they come together!

✨ From Outdated to Open & Inviting ✨

This condo kitchen had definitely seen better days.

The cabinets were falling apart, the flooring was worn out, and the popcorn ceiling made the entire space feel dark and dated. Instead of just replacing a few things, the homeowners decided it was time to invest in a space they'd actually enjoy.

Here's what we transformed:
✔️ Removed all of the old cabinets
✔️ Tore out the outdated flooring
✔️ Skim-coated the entire ceiling to eliminate the popcorn texture
✔️ Opened up the entryway by removing a dividing wall to create a much more spacious flow between the kitchen and living room
✔️ Installed new kitchen cabinets
✔️ Installed beautiful new flooring throughout the first floor

The only thing left is the countertops, and we can't wait to see the finished product!

Sometimes the biggest transformations come from the smallest changes.

Not every home needs a complete renovation to make a dramatic impact.

In this project, the staircase was structurally sound—but the white metal railing looked out of place and didn’t match the character of the home. Instead of tearing everything apart, we upgraded it with a custom oak handrail, matching oak balusters, and a new oak post that ties in beautifully with the existing stair treads.

The result? A staircase that looks like it was always meant to be there and completely changes the feel of the entryway.

It’s a great reminder that thoughtful finish carpentry can completely transform a space without the cost of a full remodel.

Another project wrapped up, and this one was a fun one to be part of!

We recently completed all of the interior finish work for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) by Kinstruct Tiny Homes. Our scope included installing LifeProof flooring throughout, baseboards, window casing, interior doors, kitchen cabinetry, and the bathroom vanity to bring the space together.

Safety first, craftsmanship always.

When we arrived at this project, the existing deck was in rough shape. In fact, out of all the support posts, only one was actually making contact with the ground. Needless to say, this deck was long overdue for a rebuild.

We completely transformed the structure by installing four new support posts, each secured to new 12” concrete footings to provide a solid, long-lasting foundation. We also added a brand-new staircase, giving the homeowners convenient access to their deck directly from the outdoors.

Now they have a safe, sturdy outdoor space they can enjoy for years to come. And with a little tree clearing, they’ll have an incredible view of pleasant lake to go along with it. 🌲🏡
