Here’s a fun little bathroom I’ve been helping a good client/ new homeowner out on. Demo’d our old bathroom and double lathe and plaster walls. Reframed walls and added a small header and some joist hangers to squeeze in a couple more inches. Broke up our floor and totally reworked our drain lines and moved the toilet to the opposite side of the shower. So now we’ll actually have a sink in the bathroom. I’m not a huge fan of schluter or foam shower pans and was always taught you can’t beat a vinyl pan. Pre sloped, vinyl pan on top and then I like to add a concrete shower curb and squish the vinyl pan into it so it’ll last for a while hopefully! I’ll be back to help them out on the mud bed and durocking the walls up but wanted to share the progress so far.

Here’s a new up and coming salon I got roughed in Spanish Fork. 6 hair sinks, 2 bathroom groups, extra sink and a washer box setup w/ future floor drain. Excited to see how this turns out on the finish side. 🔥

New 50 gallon water heater and water softener install for this customer. Replaced slave unit water heater and brought up to code. Ran a whole water softener loop thru the home for customer to keep everything that needs to stay hard on there water system hard and brought a new set of 1” lines down to unit. Everything cleaned up real nice because I’ve done this once or twice 😉. Water heaters, softeners, filters or anything plumbing give me a call or text to get on the schedule! 3855394866

Couple of new frost free bibs installed. Threw some hydraulic cement back behind and around bib to really snug it in and waterproof everything. Customers ready to start watering those spring flowers again.

New mixing valve and replaced a couple leaking fittings on this 1” line. They may have been leaking for a little while! 😅

What do you do when a strip mall 1” copper line has no isolation valves and has a pin hole leak? Can’t shutdown the water to the whole building due to the fact there is a dentist office, pharmacy and at least 5 different restaurants that get shut down as well. So you walk over to the auto zone conveniently located across the street, get a radiator hose + some clamps for the day and bring that propress back early in the morning and get it taken care of quick and easy. 🧠💪

Got this call which initially started as a pull and reset but as you can tell it wasn’t gonna be that easy. (Not pictured) Pulled toilet and found someone had just put a regular glue fl**ge on top of this 4” riser and just had it floating inside with a couple of drywall screws hanging on for dear life to the rotted subfloor. Told customer basically I can put an expansion fl**ge in place and attempt to reset the toilet but grandma will most likely end up in the basement if we leave the subfloor like it is. So we got the ok for new subfloor and bracing. Cut 4” cast iron and coupled on 4” abs section of piping with new fl**ge secured to new floor and I was able to keep the existing pieces of peel and stick floor tiles and glue them back down. Now I feel a lot better about this job and the family feels a lot better about the safety of there grandma. Call or text me for all your plumbing needs! 385-539-4866

Quick little commercial job this morning playing “find the leak”. Building is a 2020 and the apprentices solder joint lasted a good 5 years. Sweated on a short new piece of copper with another pex adapter and hopefully I can beat this guys solder joint record.

Shower valve and trim replacement. Got real lucky on this one. Lazy Susan kitchen cabinet directly behind valve on other side and didn’t have a remodel plate when I started tearing this old valve out. So I cut just a little bit smaller circle out on the new trim plate and got after it. Adapted poly b back over to pex for hot and cold and sweated on to my existing tub and shower runs to wrap this one up. Customer is very pleased they don’t have butchered cabinets or a big ugly remodel plate covering this up. This delta valve cleaned up nice but I’m still a moen guy til I die sorry 🙌
