Most homeowners never get to see what’s underneath their roof.

These photos tell the story of a complete roof replacement right here in Spartanburg, SC. What started with exposed rafters and a full tear-off ended with a stronger, more reliable roofing system built from the structure up.

For this project, we replaced the entire roof decking, installed Owens Corning Duration® shingles in Midnight Plum, and finished it off with new 5” black gutters for a clean, modern look.

This 1932 mill house had nine.👀

As we tore into this roof, we uncovered nearly a century of roofing history and the original slat decking that has supported this home since it was built.

Homes like this deserve to be preserved.

That’s why we’re restoring this property with a complete roofing system, new fascia boards, and new soffit before installing Owens Corning Duration® shingles in Onyx Black for lasting protection and a timeless look.
