My friend that runs Cluck + Crumb shared this, so I thought I would also for anyone who’s interested in downloading this app!

I highly encourage you folks to download this app.

This app will let you pull up a map and see locals that sell their products whether it be homegrown fruit/veggies, baked goods, natural home remedies, tallow, eggs, etc. You can also create your own profile to sell your products as well. The closest person on the app to me right now is 22 miles and I know for a fact that there are lots of folks that have products available around me (canned goods, eggs, breads).

It’s (been) time to stop depending on the government & mass production companies and get products locally. No matter the label you’re buying at the store, it’s most likely the exact same product just different prices. I’ll let you go down that rabbit hole when you have a minute.

If you feel as though you can’t afford “organic” or “all natural”, I can guarantee you 9/10 times someone will barter with you. Trade some garden tomatoes for a dozen eggs.
