I am still getting tons of questions about cattle panels:
- they are 16 ft x 50 inches
- in cheaspeake VA they sell for around $35
- they are 4 gauge wire (the lower the number the larger the wire)
- yes they support a lot of weight if you support them with poles.
- you can get them from Tractor Supply Co. Southern States or usually any farm store
- you can slightly fold them but if you do it to much you will put a permanent crease in it.
- no it won't fit in a mini van LOL
- no I am not worried about the galvanized material on it leaching lead into the ground. The Parts Per Million that you could find traces of in the soil would probably be way worse by your water source.
- They are best suited for "vining" crops like Rampicante, Butternut, Cucumber, indeterminate tomatoes, cantaloupe, small watermelon, small pumpkins, nasturtiums, grapes, blackberries, yard long beans, snake beans, luffa, etc......
- yes I love them!
