We're here for you!
We recently surveyed a local marina to discuss their needs and address issues they are having with old rotting wood and worn out trex. We also surveyed a very large floating dock at a residence that has rotted and warped 2x8 decking.
Fact: Most floating docks at homes and marinas are built with steel frames and 24" centers. This won't work for any kind of Trex (or similar) upgrades. 5/4" decking won't work either. 2x6 can work, but not recommended with the "new growth lumber" that's just not that strong anymore.
Solution: The Snap Decking 2x4 composite decking panels are designed for 24" O.C. spacing, allowing floating dock assemblies to rapidly be upgraded to Snap Decking without having to upgrade structural supports.

Stairs: Whether they are wood, aluminum or steel, our 1x4 step treads are the answer! With a full 12" tread depth, they offer more step surface that is also ADA Non-Slip compliant - the ultimate step tread solution

Ramps - What a mess! Aluminum or steel ramps are usually built with a 4' width and 24" center support. If they are channel ramps, the 2x4 deck panel sits nicely inside the channel. They can also be mounted on the face of the support as well. We recently surveyed a marina that is looking to upgrade their ramps for safety, replacing worn out boards and worn out trex. We're talking 163 linear feet of ramps! Most of them are 4' wide and one is 8' wide and the 2x4 panels fit the bill that will make for a excellent upgrade for their customers.
