Boxwood Pruning Projects: It often takes 3 whole years to get 15 year old boxwood back down to an appropriate size without totally scalping the hedge. The hedges in these photos have been thinned, sheared and thinned, and hand pruned to allow for interior growth to establish so we can take the height down considerably without shocking the plant.
