Finding so much peace in my garden lately, and this plumeria is the ultimate reminder of resilience! 🌱 It started as just a tiny stub with a couple of leaves and has pushed out so much gorgeous foliage this year. But when June rolled around with zero blooms, I knew it needed a little extra love.

Taking a look at all the leafjoy Plants Assorted Anthuriums I’ve scooped up from The Home Depot over the past few months! 🌿 Some of these beauties were in pristine condition right off the shelf, while others are still in need of a little rehabilitation—but honestly, they are still so beautiful. I’m super confident many of these hybrids have that stunning DocBlock lineage, and the Plant Daddy is absolutely living for them! Loving how those dark, velvety leaves are settling into the new office shelf setup under the grow lights, too. 🖤🪴

Retail therapy led me to Buchanan's Native Plants - Houston, TX today!🌱

They specialize in plants native to Texas that can handle our intense heat, humidity, and long growing seasons. If you’re looking for outdoor plants that will actually survive our climate, they are your go-to!
Their dedicated greenhouse for indoor plants is also an absolute dream. While I was thrilled to score a beautiful Anthurium regale (with an offshoot!), the customer service at checkout was definitely on the chilly side. A little warmth goes a long way at the register, but I’m still excited to take this beauty home and watch it thrive! ✨

My Prince of Orange philodendron was starting to test my patience after aborting two leaves in a row! 😅 I was honestly getting a bit offended, but thankfully, Earth Vibe Organics came to the rescue with their Growth Tonic. 🌱✨

Your favorite literal cheeky planter is back in action! 🍑 Right now, it’s the proud home of my A. (Pap ‘Gatorskin’ x Aff Bessae) x (Michelle x Zara). I really didn’t think she was gonna show much crystal veining, but this stunning new leaf is definitely proving me wrong. ✨

Say hello to the absolute madam of my collection: my beautiful Elephant Bush. As the oldest living plant under this Plant Daddy’s care, she holds a very special place in the B.Blooms family. 💚
After growing so vigorously this past year, she desperately needed a little extra room to stretch her roots. I recently treated her to a fresh repotting in this gorgeous textured blue pot, and now she is taking her rightful throne right in the center of the balcony garden. She is absolutely thriving out here in the Houston sun, shining and soaking up the rays exactly as the queen of the plants should! 👑🌞

It’s funny to think back to when I first started my plant journey—I actually thought Monsteras were funny-looking and definitely didn’t want one! 😅 But then, the Thai Constellation craze hit, and the obsession truly took root.
One plant turned into nine, and now I’m a proud plant parent to a collection that ranges from the Lemon-Lime and Cobra to the classic Deliciosa and the stunning Mint I recently added to the family. 🌿✨ My perspective (and my living room) have officially been transformed. Safe to say I’ve been fully converted!
