Please see K&N’s stud team in action shooting the first of 22,000 shear studs at the I-270 Chain of Rocks bridge replacement!
Our stud welder is powered by a Tier 4 Cummins engine, the SJ Series GenSet by Tru-Weld is capable of producing 205 kw of power! All of this power is put to good use to push the Tru-Weld SC-3402 dual gun stud welder capable of shooting up to 1-1/4” diameter shear studs.
This machine is a complete stud welding package which features additional 150-amp and 200-amp breakers, built in outlets to power your jobsite. The generator produces 480 VAC, 3 phase and 256 KVA that is fully complaint with the Tier IV emissions regulations. This results in a package that produces, clean power while still allowing the job to be completed effectively and efficiently.
