We are looking for a dependable, experienced General Interior Repair & Maintenance Laborer to assist with residential repair, renovation, and property maintenance projects.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, can troubleshoot common household repairs, and has experience with a variety of interior construction and maintenance tasks. You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you should be handy, knowledgeable, and able to complete quality work.
Typical Work May Include:
Carpet and flooring installation or repair
Interior painting and touch-up work
Window removal and replacement
Door installation, adjustment, and repair
Baseboard, casing, and other trim installation
Drywall installation and minor wall repairs
Faucet replacement and minor plumbing repairs
Toilet installation and replacement
Shower and bathroom repairs
Caulking and sealing
Cabinet and hardware repairs
General carpentry
Punch-list and home inspection repairs
General residential maintenance and repair work
Other interior improvement projects as needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in construction, remodeling, property maintenance, handyman work, or a similar field
Ability to complete common household repairs without constant supervision
Comfortable using power tools and hand tools
Ability to measure, cut, install, repair, and troubleshoot
Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Dependable and able to show up when scheduled
Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes
Ability to keep the work area clean and organized
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift materials and perform physical construction work
Experience with carpentry, flooring, painting, plumbing repairs, windows, doors, bathrooms, drywall, or remodeling is especially helpful.
About the Position
This is a hands-on position with a variety of projects—not the same job every day. We're looking for someone who enjoys fixing things, solving problems, and working on different types of residential repair and improvement projects.
Pay: $30/hr
Schedule: Flexible; workload may vary based on projects
Location: Stephenson, VA and surrounding Winchester/Northern Shenandoah Valley area
We're especially interested in someone who is well-rounded and experienced in multiple trades and can be trusted to handle smaller repair projects independently.
