Update: I added a yellow Potentilla shrub to compliment the blue hydrangea (can’t wait to see those next year!!) and freshened up the stone drip edge. It’s amazing what a few sticks and stones can do!! 😉

I will never look at a day lily the same way again! 🥵 Before and after of this front garden rehab. Nasty juniper, ferns and the thickest lily patch I have ever seen! All GONE for a simpler, low maintenance look. I also planted a classic blue hydrangea that will be beautiful next year! 😍

The Japanese Iris is one of my FAVORITE plants in my perennial garden. Super hardy and grows thick to choke out weeds 😍🌱

Check out this Before & After of a severely overgrown lilac tree! Unfortunately this is what happens when large shrubs go unchecked. 🌳Nothing left to do but chop it drop it and let new growth come in! 🌱 I will return next year to cut the remaining old growth and prune the new shoots! 🤗
