Flood Watches have been issued across most areas along and east of I-81. These are in effect from 4 PM until midnight. A stalled front amidst a tropical air mass will increase the risk of flash flooding this afternoon & evening.

Something to keep on your radar for the Fourth of July, this Saturday: SPC has drawn up a Level 2 of 5 severe risk across parts of Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. The setup is a hot, muggy afternoon with a front sliding through, and that combo tends to produce storms that collapse and slam strong winds straight down to the ground, enough to knock over trees and take down a few power lines. This is still two days out, so the exact timing and coverage will get clearer as we go, but if you've got holiday cookouts or fireworks plans, it's worth checking back in.

🙌 Big relief today! After some nasty wind and hail came through, our office property roof took a beating. But I’m so grateful to say our insurance company came through and is covering the full replacement!
No out-of-pocket nightmare, just a brand new roof on the way. If you’ve been putting off checking your insurance coverage, let this be your sign — it’s worth it when Mother Nature decides to test your business!
