Hi friends! 👋 I'm Jeff Lacy, and I own MMWWco (Mischievous Metals and WoodWright Co.). We've been building furniture since 2016, and today you'll find us in the old school shop building at 409 East 4th Street in Stromsburg.
I've worked with wood since I was a kid, back when I was cutting and finishing Christmas presents for family by hand. After industrial design school and years running a construction company, I made the dream my full-time job: building furniture. Most days it doesn't feel like work. 🙌
To me, the dining table is where a home really happens: Sunday dinners, homework, birthday cake, the long talks after everyone's done eating. A table should be built well enough to stay in the family for good.
Here's what we do:
🪵 Real hardwood tops in black walnut, white oak, red oak, ash, and barnwood. Our walnut, oak, and ash grow right here in Nebraska.
🔩 Wood and metal is our specialty. Steel bases come out of our own metal shop, or you can go with classic turned wood legs.
📐 Every table is hand-built to your spec: farmhouse, round, trestle, pedestal, live-edge, waterfall, epoxy river, brass inlay, laser etching, and extension leaves.
⏱️ Tables are built to order, about 8–10 weeks in the shop once your deposit clears.
🚚 White-glove delivery. We carry it in, set it up, level it, and leave the room the way we found it.
💲 Clear prices are posted right on our website, so there's no guessing.
📜 Every table goes home with a card that tells the story of its wood: what it is, where it grew, and how it was dried.
You don't have to take my word for it. 100% of the people who reviewed us on Facebook recommend us (15 reviews). ⭐
💬 "WOW!! The craftsmanship is outstanding — you can truly see the care, precision and pride that went into creating our furniture piece… Their customer service is excellent!!" — Datrece Voichoski

💬 "Quality and craftsmanship are amazing! And their customer service was over the top! Great experience, highly recommend." — John Jeffers
You can pick one of our named tables or dream up something that doesn't have a name yet. Either way, we start with your room and a conversation. I'd be honored to build the table your family gathers around. 😊
🎉 Right now we're running 10% off sitewide, so it's a great time to get your table on the build schedule.
