A little behind the scenes of what goes into creating and packaging our dry pantry goods.

Our first priority is to grow our herbs ourself. In the dehydrator, I've got some fresh Shiso leaves and banana slices (working on another bakeing pantry mix!).

If we can't grow it, we see if one of our neighbors does. If they dont, we move on to local farms/growers that we know personally and can verify growing methods. Non-GMO and no pesticides are a big deal to us.

If we STILL can't find something fresh, we source it from Walkers Market, who also prioritizes high quality sources.

We will have a BRAND NEW herb seasoning blend being released at tomorrow's market, Friday Farmers Market in Chesapeake. If you can make it, awesome! We'll have free samples to try out.

If you can't make Friday, we'll also be at Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market and Waterway Market at Great Bridge Village this weekend as well!
