I've got a wren in my garage. No, I'm not holding him hostage! I suspect it's part of the pair that tried to nest there last year. Tragically, it did not work out for one of them.
Now, as someone who makes birdhouses, it's a personal affront that it has not moved into one of the various options I have hanging around the property. I will try to get the bird outside tomorrow and rehome it properly.
