🌿 SUNDAY MORNING REHAB REPORT 🌿

Meet our newest questionable decision: a Variegated Boston Fern.

Have we ever owned a fern? No.
Did we choose to start with a perfectly healthy, beginner-friendly one? Also no. 😂

We saw a variegated rehab project and apparently thought, “Yeah, we can fix her.”

So far, Fern School has taught us:
🪴 Bright, indirect light
💦 Keep her evenly moist, not sitting in a swamp
💨 Humidity is basically her love language
✂️ Crispy/dead fronds can go
👀 And then stare at her daily for signs that we’ve somehow offended her

She’s currently in rehab with high hopes, moderate qualifications, and entirely too much supervision.

Our Mini Jade Bonsai has officially found its forever pot. 🥹

Tiny tree. Big personality. Absolutely no intention of paying rent.

She packed her microscopic bags, said goodbye to the greenhouse, and headed off to her new home where she plans to sit there looking expensive and judging everyone’s watering habits. 😂

My variegated Philodendron billietiae is hands down my favorite plant. The other plants probably already know.

Every new leaf is a whole event. Will she give me more variegation? A half moon? Something completely unhinged? Who knows. But I will absolutely stare at it 47 times a day while it unfurls.

I love all my plants. I do.

But if you see me running out of the house with this one tucked under my arm, mind your business. 😂
