Pictures don’t do this job justice! I brought our local baseball field back to life today. I personally worked on this job today by myself because it brought back a lot of memories growing up on this field. Every year that I played ball growing up was on this field! My phone is messed up so it looks so much better in person. Worked on it from 10am-5:30pm today! What a tranformation! Thanks to Heather N Christopher Holloway for dragging the infield so we could have practice on it this evening.

The boys came to play again tonight with a victory 11-5!! The first inning had me a little worried but they gathered their bearings and turned the game around. Our youngest player Gage (Hank) who is in kindergarten playing with 2nd and 3rd graders hit an in the park home run this evening! Mr. Dewayne was our game ball recipient for the great effort, attitude, listening skills, and he got the last out of the game! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for Twisted Grass! Keep up the hard work boys! 2-0!!!

Proud is an understatement when it comes to this group of boys. This team was thrown together last minute about 2 weeks ago. We had 2 practices and were unable to get the pitching machine for either practice so the boys never even had practice to hit off the machine. The boys were up and ready to roll at 7:30 this morning for our parade. They brought their energy back to the field at 4:45 this evening to win our very first game 8-1!!! EVERY boy hit the ball atleast 1 time and made it on base. We had 2 errors that allowed them to score the 1 point. We are beyond proud of the whole group of boys and this weeks game ball went to Mr. Jack for 2 in the park home runs! We are looking foward to our Tuesday game!!!
