After receiving his B.S. Degree from University of Illinois, Armin began his career as a research agronomist with International Mineral and Chemicals conducting laboratory and field trials. But it was his life long love of plants and landscaping that led him to a long and successful career in the horticultural industry, primarily in providing wholesale nursery products to nurseries throughout the Midwest.
After moving from Michigan to Sun City West In 1987, Armin established his company along with his sons Thor and Eric Kurz in Sun City, Arizona. Thor has taken ownership and directs the daily operations, overseeing an experienced crew of ten landscape professionals. Armin and Son proudly maintains dozens of beautiful condo associations in the Sun Cities.
