This project was a complete transformation!

After opening everything up, we uncovered extensive dry rot caused by an improperly installed exterior door and incorrect deck flashing. Our team removed all the damaged material, repaired the affected areas, corrected the flashing, and rebuilt everything properly to prevent future problems.

The project took approximately two weeks, and we kept the homeowners informed throughout the entire process. They love the finished results, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together!

Another one in the books! 🔨🏠

We built this 18x18 garage from the ground up and set the roof, and then Lighthouse Doors came in to finish up the siding and install the garage door. It was definitely a HOT one out there while we were working! ☀️🥵

What made this project even better is that it wasn’t the original plan. Jen first reached out about a small mudroom addition. When she mentioned she was going through the variance process, I told her, “If you’re already doing that, you might as well go bigger—build the garage!” And she did. I’m glad she trusted us to bring it to life.

Jen was an incredible customer from start to finish. One of the best parts of this job is always the relationships we build along the way. When you’re working long days at someone’s home, you really get to know each other, and it turns into more than just another construction project.

A big thank you to Steven with SB Electric for handling all the electrical work and helping tie everything together. We appreciate the quality work and having reliable trades we can always count on!

250 years ago, a handful of men stood their ground and chose freedom over fear. Since then, every generation has had warriors willing to answer the call, knowing the cost could be everything. Their sacrifice is the reason our flag still flies and our nation still stands.

Serving in the Army has given me a deeper respect for what that flag represents. It’s not just red, white, and blue—it’s the blood of those who never made it home, the grit of those still standing watch, and the families who carry the weight right alongside us. Freedom has always come with a price, and there are still Americans willing to pay it.

America isn’t perfect, but it’s worth defending. I wear this uniform with pride because I believe in what came before me and in protecting what will come after me. On our nation’s 250th birthday, I honor every warrior who answered the call, every family who sacrificed, and every patriot who refuses to let that legacy fade

Happy 250th Birthday, America. We remember the fallen, stand beside the living, and remain ready to defend this nation—yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Memorial Day, to me, has never just been about a long weekend or the start of summer. It carries weight. As someone who serves in the Army, this day feels personal. It’s a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by the men and women who wore the uniform before us — the ones who gave everything for this country and never made it home.

Serving has taught me that freedom is not free. Behind every flag waving proudly is a story of courage, brotherhood, loss, and sacrifice. Memorial Day reminds me of those who stood beside their brothers and sisters in arms, answered the call without hesitation, and paid the ultimate price. Some were soldiers with dreams, families, and futures that were cut short in service to something greater than themselves.

For me, this day is about honor and remembrance. It’s about carrying forward the memory of the fallen and never allowing their sacrifices to be forgotten. It’s also a reminder to appreciate the life and opportunities we have because of them.

As I continue serving in the Army, Memorial Day gives me an even deeper respect for the meaning of duty, loyalty, and sacrifice. Today, I stand in gratitude for those who came before me, those we lost, and the families who carry that loss every single day.

We remember them not just for how they died, but for how they lived, served, and protected the freedoms we enjoy today.
