Monstera Deliciosa — Before & After 🌿✂️
One of my favorite things about what I do? I come to you! 🏡
This was a house call — I packed up my tools and headed out to help this sweet client with her beloved Monstera, and her mama was so nervous about making the cut! I completely understand that feeling, I explained what we would be doing and how the plant would thrive after this and she trusted the process!
We chopped the top half of the plant right there in her sunroom, allowing the established base to redirect its energy into producing those big, beautiful mature leaves it’s known for — while giving the top cutting a brand new life of its own. The aerial roots were carefully placed into soil to develop into a proper root system, and we packed a moss pole with sphagnum moss to give her the support she needed, encouraging those aerial roots to attach and climb just like nature intended.
The results? Just look at her now. 😍🌿
