I have the best client. This job was her vision and I hadn’t seen the decorative elements until I installed them. After I finished today she staged the room. I think she did a wonderful job. A true collaboration.

I’m working out of town this week and I took a walk this morning in the cool air. While walking on the edge of a side road a random pickup stopped and this guy looked like he was going to ask for directions. Instead, he asked me if anyone had told me to have a nice day yet.

This guy looked like a member of ZZ Top and totally caught me off guard.

I thought for a second then said no.

With a huge smile he said have a great day and drove off. This made my day already at 6 am.

Someone is trying to scam me using Facebook and Venmo. They’re claiming Venmo requires my customer is required to pay 300 to upgrade my account to a business account. That I’ve hit some kind of limit. They even send an email that looks like it’s from Venmo.

Note the email address is a gmail account. That’s why I pay extra for email in my business name so customers know it’s from me and not a scam. Some of the hidden costs of being a legit business.

Nowhere in my Venmo account is any payment reflected. It’s a bit obvious but it caught me by surprise. I’ll keep their money if they actually send it and I’ll mail off their charcuterie boards if they ever send an address.
