Comfort is always looking for fun ways to get involved in our communities!

Alfred State College has a 2-year Building Trades program that parallels the work we do at Comfort Windows. Focusing on every aspect of residential construction, they have built multiple neighborhoods throughout the surrounding communities of the Western New York town.
Twice a year, the school holds a job fair for their students to meet with prospective employers. This has been a valuable pipeline for Comfort Windows to hire experienced personnel. Credit for this relationship goes to our very own Mark Toor, a graduate and now advisor to the Alfred Building Trades Program.

This week, Mark and Gary McAfee headed down to the school for this spring’s job fair to meet with some seniors who have applied to Comfort. Then Mark was able to spend some time with a few seniors in the program, Jason Brown and Tyler Ford, who are now also employed with Comfort. We value our relationship with the Alfred Trades Program so much and are excited to hopefully see some more of these seniors in red soon enough!
