For Pride Month, my office will be hosting a District-wide product drive! All donations will go to Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) and distributed to our local LGBTQ+ communities. Suggested donations include panty liners, menstrual pads, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair care products, body and face wash, deodorant and other personal hygiene products. Donation locations include:

All the way from , Rob Cameron will bring his vibrant energy to the festival again this year. Cameron was our 2025 featured author. If you had an opportunity to engage with him last year, you know you will be in for a treat.

Cameron is a teacher, writer, and linguist. His ability to put words together to create new and exciting worlds filled with adventure is lauded. In his debut fiction novel "Daydreamer," Cameron introduces the reader to Charles, the main character living in two worlds. In the reality of his everyday life, Charles is 11, managing school expectations, and dealing with being bullied while growing up in an apartment building in New York City. In his imaginary world, Charles is fighting to save everything he loves from dragons, ogres, trolls and more.

For attendees looking for an interactive author who will help spark the creativity locked within children, definitely stop by and see Cameron at the festival. He'll invite kids to color, stepping into a new realm of existence, much like Charles. Learn more about Cameron and his background at www.rob-cameron.com.
