Did you know that these could be topiary and hedged? The county uses them all over the place because of their ever-blooming nature year-round :-) there are some that you have to be careful that reseed themselves and if you don't maintain them they can lay down and start creating wider and wider births of beautiful flowers in purple. They come in purple, white, and pink and lavender. There is a dwarf size as well as the leggy more normal size they do create a sterile variety now so you don't have to worry about receiving. It's a good idea not to plant them near a ditch if they are the old-fashioned variety as they will be very happy to cross the ditch they love water. They are easily rooted within 2 days once you break them off and stick them in moisturt very beautiful vigorous plant and a great one to make a topiary from if you're new added simply weave the leggy parts and keep trimming it to create a ball at the top it can easily be tied together with floral tape as you go.
