There’s a big difference between “cutting bushes” and actually shaping them correctly.

These hollies were starting to get overgrown, so we came in and cleaned them up the right way. Clean lines, proper shaping, and attention to detail make all the difference over time.

A good trim not only looks better… it helps keep the shrubs healthier too.

We take pride in the little details most people overlook.

Today I want to give a big shoutout to Joshua Crock.

Joshua has been with me since Christmas light season and has been showing up every single day since. Whether it’s Christmas lights in the freezing cold or long lawn care days in the Tennessee heat, he’s always ready to work and help however needed.

In a world where dependable people are hard to find, Josh has been a huge blessing to Bozeman’s Lawn Care and Bozeman’s Christmas Lights. More importantly, he’s just a great guy to be around.

Josh moved here from Washington and has become like family. He’s a Christian, family-first kind of guy, and I truly believe that’s one reason we work so well together.

Hard-working people deserve recognition, and Josh is definitely employee of the month… maybe even employee of the year. 😂

Thankful for good people who show up, work hard, and help build something bigger than themselves. Proud to have you on the team, brother.

We’ve seen lots of companies out mowing the past couple days, but we decided to hold off until Friday for most of our customers since our schedule allowed it.

Cutting wet lawns can cause a lot more harm than people realize:• Spreads fungus and disease easier• Compacts the soil from heavy equipment• Leaves ruts and tire marks• Tears grass instead of giving a clean cut• Clumps grass and creates an uneven finish. Sometimes skipping is best to let lawn thicken and dry.

Sometimes slowing down for a day or two is actually the best thing for the lawn long term. We’d rather protect our customers’ properties than rush through them just to stay moving.

Rain slowed us down a little this week, but we’re thankful for it. Days like this are a good reminder to slow down, enjoy time with family, and maintenance equipment without feeling the need to go.go.go!

We’re still on schedule and will be back out today, tomorrow, and Saturday working through the route. If you haven’t seen us yet this week, don’t worry — we’re coming. Some properties may just be a day or two behind because of the weather.

Not every yard needs a big mower.

This lake lot was being cut with a zero turn… and you can see the damage it left behind. Ruts, torn-up turf, and bare spots that don’t just “grow back overnight.”

So we switched it up.

• Push mowers for control
• Clean edging around the beds
• Taking our time instead of rushing the job

It’s more work… but it’s the right way to do it.
