When illness spreads through a household, many people focus on getting better—but forget about frequently touched surfaces throughout the home.

In this case, we performed a whole-home disinfecting treatment using an electrostatic sprayer to help apply an EPA-registered disinfectant to hard, non-porous surfaces.

Every situation is different, and professional disinfecting isn’t necessary for every illness. But for some homes, businesses, or facilities, it can be an important part of returning the space to normal.

This machine doesn’t blow air—it pulls moisture out of the air.

As wet materials dry, all that moisture ends up in the air. If it isn’t removed, the drying process slows down.

💡 Can you tell if there’s mold just by walking into a house?

It’s one of the questions we get asked the most.

The short answer? Not with certainty.

Sure, there are things that can make us suspicious—a musty smell, water stains, or visible discoloration—but none of those automatically mean mold is present.

That’s why we test.

✔️ Mold testing helps determine whether elevated mold spores are present in the air.

✔️ VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) testing measures airborne chemicals that can affect your home’s indoor air quality. These compounds can come from building materials, household products, furnishings, and other indoor sources.

“If my wood baseboards only got wet a couple of inches, do I really need to worry?”

It’s a great question—and the honest answer is…

Maybe.

The height of the water doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Water can wick (travel) upward into drywall, soak into the back of the baseboards, and even become trapped beneath certain types of flooring.

That means everything might look dry from the outside while moisture is still hiding where you can’t see it.

The good news? It doesn’t automatically mean you need to tear everything out.

A simple moisture assessment can usually tell us whether the materials are drying properly or if there’s hidden moisture that needs attention.
