I made option A first but wasn't happy so i made much simpler option B. They are both African Blackwood and the box is claro walnut burl with a madrone lid.

Got a real camera today! No more being stuck with a cell phone trying to auto adjust the image! One of the things they never seen to mention about being a maker these days is that you also have to be a photographer. These are some possible shots for a secret project. Let us know what's you think.

This amazing claro walnut box with maple burl lid and gaboon ebony finial has found it's forever home!

I love making fancy boxes like this and this one was one of my oldest and nicest. It's a bittersweet parting but now i have space to craft something new!

Getting ready for this Saturday at Los Ranchos Art Market in the morning 8-noon and at SLOWMARKETABQ in the afternoon from 4-8!
