It isn’t goodbye, just a ‘see you soon’. I have made a decision to take a break from live sales for the foreseeable future. My last 2 live sales will take place this week.
Shipping has never been easy in my small condo. From offering open boxes for a month, to shipping once a week, it has always been the highest stressor for me while running this business. While I love this community, the sellers, customers and friends I have met along the way, I need to pause for a bit and reevaluate where I go from here.
I currently have two antique booths in the Chicagoland area, and am thinking about opening a third. I want to do more markets and pop-ups. I love selling in-person (no shipping!) and seeing the excitement on someone’s face when they find an item that reminds them of their grandmother. Or their childhood, their father, etc.
I’m hoping by taking shipping off my plate that I will have the brainpower for more posts, reels and stories (thrift finds from my trunk!) about all my finds. This isn’t a goodbye but rather a pivot. I’ll still be here and tbh, you might see even more of me.
I love you so much and can’t thank you enough for your support on all my live sales and events I have hosted over the last 5 years here on IG! We’ve raised money for so many different causes, hosted many giveaways and had countless laughs on Midnight Market!
