Dragonflies are one of the best garden helpers to have around, especially when mosquitoes start showing up. ✨ What helps bring them in:
💧 Water nearby matters just as much as flowers
🌸 Pollinator-friendly blooms give them a reason to visit the area
🌿 Native wet-loving plants are often especially useful near ponds or damp spots
🚫 Fewer pesticides means a healthier space for beneficial insects
If you can add both flowers and water, you’ll usually see more of them.

Working together transferring mulch in the backyard after a tree was cut down and put into wood mulch pieces.

In permaculture gardening, mulch is one of the staple techniques for building healthy, self-sustaining ecosystems.

Fresh mulch have several benefits like with:

🌱 Helping with water retention by up to 90%

🌱 Helping suppressing weeds by blocking the sun light and inhibits seed germination

🌱 Helping buffer against the elements, like heart, cold, and heavy rain

🌱 Last but not least, when mulch had been aged and decomposed for awhile it adds organic matter to the soils health and bring support to a thriving soil food web.
