Members of our Rochester office attended The Margaret Home Spring Gala.

The Margaret Home is a residential program that works with pregnant and parenting mothers to support their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs, giving them time to heal, grow, and thrive. It's a one-stop shop that helps these women rebuild their lives safer, stronger, and more powerful than they started.

This year, the Gala raised over $100k in the silent and live auctions.

Our own Tricia Catalano is a volunteer for the organization and has helped countless women during her time there.

To round out our recognition of our previous Hard Hat Champions of the Month, we would like to recognize Todd Rosenzweig, our Hard Hat Champion of the Month for March.

Todd has been a dedicated member of our team for nine years, bringing exceptional skill and pride to every project.

As a certified welder, he’s contributed his craftsmanship to countless jobs and gives back as a Local 46 instructor, helping shape the next generation of journeymen.

Todd is known for his reliability, adaptability, and willingness to go the extra mile. Most recently, he stepped into a foreman role on the 8 3400 project and rose to the challenge on a tough job, delivering great results. We’re excited to see what he accomplishes next.

To continue our recognition of our previous Hard Hat Champions of the Month, we would like to recognize Jon Underberg our February Hard Hat Champion of the Month.

Jon, a Local 81S Plumbers and Steamfitters third year apprentice (known by his peers as “Hot Dog”), joined our team in Syracuse 2.5 years ago as a first year apprentice.

We're recognizing him for the enthusiasm he brings to the job site – always working hard, exceeding expectations, and taking initiative. Respect and commitment are at the forefront of his work ethic, shown recently through his work at the Syracuse Airport and Onondago County Courthouse projects.

Thank you, "Hot Dog," for your contributions to our region and our team!

We recently teamed up with Local 22 and Local 71 to perform a helicopter lift to set 34 pieces of equipment onto the roofs of two separate schools.

The units, manufactured by Nortek Air Solutions and provided by JW Swanson, will provide heating and air conditioning to elementary schools in the Williamsville School District. They weighed upwards of 7,500 pounds each, and the total time to lift all 34 units was an impressive 1 hour and 36 minutes.

Earlier this month members of our team attended the American Heart Association Heart Ball in Rochester, N.Y. Our very own Ken Burns, Vice President of Operations for Central New York, and T.R. Casamento, Vice President of Sales for Central New York, had the honor of being co-chairs of the ball.

This event is a time to reflect on and celebrate the results of a year-round campaign to improve and save lives from heart disease and stroke. This year, Rochester raised over $300,000 to support the fight against the nation’s No. 1 killer, cardiovascular disease.

“We are honored to host an event with such profound meaning for Rochester,” said Ken Burns. “The Heart of Rochester campaign is proof of what’s possible when we stand together for a healthier tomorrow.”

“Our heartfelt thanks go to the guests, sponsors, and volunteers who stood alongside us to make this event possible,” said T.R. Casamento. “Your support helps the American Heart Association bring lifesaving heart and brain health education, research, and advocacy to Rochester. Together, we are creating a stronger, healthier community.”

Additionally, Thersea Hill, our Accounts Payable and Collections Manager, was recognized as the 2025 Rochester Leaders of Impact winner.

Our Ohio office recently completed a cooling tower replacement for Hikma Pharmaceuticals. We served as the general contractor and replaced three 1300-ton cooling towers and condenser piping.

This was a challenging project, starting in October and continuing throughout the cold Ohio winter into January. The team put in 10-hour days, as well as six consecutive days of 200-ton crane lifts, to complete the job safely and on time.

Further, the installation utilized Aquatherm polypropylene piping systems, which required specialized manufacturer certification. Our team is certified to install a number of unique piping materials suited for a variety of complex applications.

We are extremely proud of this high-quality project for the customer with numerous owner direct opportunities. Great work team!
