Went to a customer's home who was experiencing ice dam water damage to access the damage and found extensive water damage and ice buildup along with some of the worst carpentry and finish work I have ever seen. Be careful who you hire to work on your home. My assessment is that this was caused by a combination of poor craftsmanship and design along with heavy snow buildup in a low pitch valley that was probably not roofed properly. Luckily there was very little damage to the interior of the home.

Added a small patio from reused patio stones the customer had on hand. Also added crushed stone and a rock border to clean up an area of the yard that looked bad and had ground cover problems. Added a layer of cardboard with fabric on top to kill off the ground cover.

Did a yard clean up on an overrun newly purchased reno home for a customer in Traverse City.He just wanted it not to look so bad for the neighbors ontill he could have it re landscaped.Turned out pretty nice just cleaning it up a bit.
