Our garden keeps on surprising us!

My husband cut down the catalpa tree because we thought it was invasive.

This year, its branches sprouted like crazy (again) but I noticed while watering plants yesterday that it is blooming!

The catalpa flowers are gorgeous in white with purple speckles and yellow-orange nectar.

Definitely keeping our catalpa tree but will let it not grow too big.

Thankful for the previous owner with these beautiful garden surprises!

What I coincidence! I just shared the wisteria surprise in our garden and then I noticed it is the first anniversary of Petals Snaps by Lesil, which I changed to Petal Snaps and Musings by Lesil.

What a pleasant surprise!

We noticed purple blooms by the west side of the pool area and was surprised of its fragrant scent!

My daughter said it smelled like chocolate chips 😍

We are happy to discover a few more.

Our mums bloomed again this year!

I bought these a few years back and transferred them by our pool area and they kept blooming every year.

Hoping to add more. Currently have 10 of them in different colors.
