Please join us in congratulating Marquan G. on being named our first quarter Safety Employee!

"I would like to nominate Marquan Graham for Safety Employee of the Quarter for his outstanding situational awareness and quick actions in response to a fire started at a neighboring building/property.

One morning at the start of his shift, Marquan’s attention was drawn across the street. He heard a loud pop while he was unloading from his vehicle and preparing for his shift. He noticed some flames and immediately dialed 911 as he alerted us of the fire. I was asked to join him in investigating the noise and fire across the street. Marquan remained on the phone with emergency services, ensuring they had any and all information that they needed. The flame was next to brush and full recycle bins. We removed the bins to reduce the amount of available fuel for the fire and the dispatched fire truck and crew arrived immediately after. They were able to subdue the fire before any loss of property occurred. Thanks go out to Marquan for his swift actions and situational awareness- as there was no loss of property."
