Administrative Assistant
K&A Builders, Inc. is a Commercial General Contractor dedicated to providing quality construction services by creating a partnership with the Owner and Architect throughout the project. Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
• Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
• Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
• Makes catering reservations for company functions.
• Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
• Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
• Maintaining equipment inventories.
• Occasionally receiving and inventorying of project materials.
• Provides information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assist the Estimating Team with the organizing of bid documents, attending occasional meetings, and collecting information related to the project.
• Assist the Project Team with Contracts and the associated front-end documents.
• Assist the Project Team with Product Data review, preparation, ordering of materials, and submissions.
• Assist the Project Team with the collection, review, and organization of end of project documentation.
Work Hours & Benefits This opportunity is Full-Time Monday through Friday.
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong Computer Skills
• Experience with Google Drive (not required but preferred)
• Experience with Gmail (not required but preferred)
• Experience with Blue Beam Revu (not required but preferred)
• Experience with Sharefile (not required but preferred)
• Experience with Submittal Exchange (not required but preferred)
• Experience with Plangrid (not required but preferred)

Education and Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• 3+ years of administrative assistant experience
• Experience in a construction related field preferred but not required. Will train.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
