We now have our own saw mill and the ability to custom make mantels, brackets, and different timber framed items. This is a 20 inch wide by 5 inch thick piece of Sycamore that was cut down 3 years ago. It is almost to the appropriate drying level and would make a beautiful mantel. There are many 2 inch live edge slabs that would make nice bar tops or etc as well.

We have done some pretty extravagant jobs and I never post pictures. Beautiful new homes, large additions, and some pretty nice outdoor living stuff. We stay pretty busy by word of mouth and I never take time to post anything. This is a curved set of steps that we did out of the rough sawn stuff you see in the picture. It was all plained, joined, biscuit joined, and cut out by hand. Its been a process, but I'm pretty proud of this. Wood doesn't grow in curves!

This is an addition we are doing. It is hard to realize how big it is unless you are there. There is a garage on a basement level with a living area on the house side. On the second level is a kitchen extension and living area with a wrap around porch. On the third level is a bedroom/ bathroom extension/ renovation with a huge walk out porch with bamboo flooring. On the porch is an 8 feet by 20 feet x 4 feet deep exercise swimming pool overlooking a park. On the roof of the 3rd level is a fully integrated solar panel system that should produce enough power to sustain the house and sell kilowatt hours back to the grid.
