Today was all about base preparation—compacting concrete fines and watering them in to create a solid, stable foundation before a single paver is laid.

The prep work isn’t the flashy part of the project, but it’s one of the most important. A patio is only as good as the foundation beneath it, and taking the time to do it right helps create a finished product that looks great and performs for years to come.

Before any sod goes down, we want to make sure the foundation is in place. A properly installed irrigation system helps provide the consistent watering new sod needs to establish and stay healthy.

Stephanie and Juan wanted a backyard they could actually enjoy — not a patch of dirt and trees taking up space.

We removed 13 trees, built a custom patio with steps, installed irrigation, and finished it off with fresh sod to completely transform the space.
