When it rains, it pours!

We had to cut out an old leaking valve and install a new dedicated line with its own shut-off valve for the irrigation system. While making the repair, we discovered a major kink in the water line going into the slab. Believe it or not, it had been that way for over 50 years.

At Wilsonโ€™s Plumbing Services, we donโ€™t believe in shortcuts. We take the time to identify the problem, make the necessary repairs, and do the job right the first time.

Today we had to remove some travertine from a customerโ€™s concrete pool deck after a PVC ball valve started leaking. To prevent this from happening again, we relocated the valve out into the yardโ€”so any future repairs wonโ€™t require tearing up beautiful stonework.

FUN FACT: Over the years, Iโ€™ve had the privilege of having my work inspected by David Cloteaux, Lafayetteโ€™s Chief Plumbing Inspector. He was always generous with his feedback, often telling customers and contractors that it was a shame that my plumbing work would be covered up because it looked like a piece of art. His appreciation for the clean, meticulous work meant a great deal, especially coming from someone with his experience and the respect heโ€™s earned in the field.

In April 2025, David retired after 31 years. We want to wish him a great retirement and thank you for serving our community!
