Poured the little slab at Basch Brothers Powersports today. As always Brothers Concrete Supply supplied their quality concrete and prompt service. Had a visit from a ProWorx rep and he furnished us with Eucobar RTU by Euclid Chemical spray on additive that helps prevent wind cracking of the concrete. If you were outside today you know the wind was blowing what seemed like 25 mph all day long. We got this broomed, forms stripped and joints cut.

The rear parking lot at Cullman Middle School was paved under unfavorable weather conditions, which affected the quality of the finish. Given the timeline of state inspections, we didn’t have time to address the issue, and we could only hope that it would be sufficient to pass state inspections. While the lot passed inspection, the outcome fell short of our standards and we took it upon ourselves to correct the issue. We didn’t want our name associated with this project looking like it it did, so we milled 1” off of the parking lot and laid down a new wearing surface during spring break week. The guys nailed the striping layout once again and now we are proud to say we did it. Thanks to Cullman City Schools again for the opportunity.

The parking lot at Cullman Nazarene Church has been completed. Their team takes great pride in their newly built and renovated facilities. It was a pleasure collaborating with them on this project. Our team successfully installed 18” curb and gutter, leveled the parking area, did a 2” asphalt overlay, and implemented a new one-way traffic pattern with fresh striping. Cullman Nazarene Church
