We recently handled the framing, drywall and finishing for a full unit renovation in Boynton Beach, working alongside the general contractor from bare framing to paint-ready walls.

What the project included:

- New framing: an archway header at the entry, reworked closet layouts, a laundry closet for the washer and dryer, and a new hallway layout with a wet bar and linen closet
- Master bathroom reframe: new linen closet, relocated shower and a new doorway into the walk-in closet
- New drywall on all new framing, plus drywall and tile backer board in both bathrooms

The client asked for a bathroom that felt like being inside a cloud. So we built one.

For this Palm Beach master bathroom, we layered blue and white microcement by hand in a free-form technique, building depth through multiple thin coats until the walls took on a soft, atmospheric cloud effect. No tile, no grout, no hard lines.

Working on a custom staircase - there's actually two identical ones at this house in Sewall's Point in Stuart. The previous drywall company weren't able to get the edges or define the shaping - they called us and asked us to tighten it up. The angles of drywall on this and the finishing took a LOT of patience & precision. Next, we're going to coat them in a subtle, shiny venetian plaster that will upgrade the look even further - almost like a subtle faux granite finish. We'll be sure to post the final photos once the venetian plaster is completed on these stairs!
