Sometimes the most important work on a project is the part no one ever sees.
This toilet fl**ge was installed over a finished floor using quality materials and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. It may seem like a small detail, but I’ve inspected countless homes where an improperly installed fl**ge led to hidden leaks, damaged subfloors, mold growth, and expensive repairs.
As both a licensed General Contractor and a licensed Home Inspector, I don’t just identify construction defects, I understand how they’re created and how to prevent them. I still spend time in the field because staying hands on makes me a better builder and a better inspector.
The goal isn’t just to make it look good on day one. The goal is to build it correctly so it performs for years to come.
