One of CD’s latest projects has been working with Hensel Phelps Construction on the Denver Convention Center expansion. We have erected these two stair towers that extend through the roof of the building. Check it out!

Denver is continuing to grow. We recently installed scaffolding, debris netting and stair towers on the exterior of the FoundryLine, a new luxury apartment building being built in RiNo by HENSEL PHELPS.

Edgemont Condos in Steamboat are getting a facelift before ski season this winter! We recently installed scaffolding, debris netting and a trash chute so Advanced Stucco Design can replace the building’s exterior stone veneer.

CD Specialty Contractors recently teamed up with Ute Plumbing and Heating to design a mechanical room that could serve as a tutorial for Western Colorado University’s engineering students. The room consists of over 15,000 feet of insulated pipes, each jacketed with various colors to differentiate their unique purpose.

This project was intended to help educate up and coming engineering students, and we are proud to have achieved exactly that. Read more about the project, published by Johns Manville, here:

Out with the old, in with the new!

Due to deterioration and tube failures over the past 18 months, our team has been hard at work removing and deposing the old blankets, then fabricating and reinstalling 350 new ones! With these new blankets, the facility will be able to retain heat and conserve energy.

CD Specialty Contractors was tasked with erecting scaffolding to give access to the top of the Nucla Power Plant. With great communication, diligence and determination, we were able to complete the project ahead of schedule and under budget.
