As we all enjoy the holiday season Lighthouse Pools is getting ready for the 2022 summer season. 9 candidates are gaining certification for becoming a Red Cross Instructor this week!

Lighthouse Pool Management is proud of each and every one of their lifeguards and pool operators. To honor its awesome team, LPM will highlight one outstanding member of its staff every week of this season. This week’s guard of the week is Sophia Orezzoli.

Sophia has been working for LPM for two years and is a rising senior at Walter Johnson High School! In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with [her] dog and her family and friends, watching the sunrise, and playing soccer. When asked about her favorite part of working for LPM, she said, “the fun staff”. Her favorite memory from working with LPM is “getting close with the staff during our covid summer and learning new dives once we finished sanitizing during the 30 minute sanitation periods.”

Dennis Witol has worked with LPM for eight years. When asked about how LPM has served him a positive job experience, as he replied, “Lighthouse has served me a positive job experience by allowing me to grow within the company from starting out as just a lifeguard to a pool operator to manager to becoming a lifeguard instructor to now helping run HR. HR has mentored me the part 8 years to be not only the best employee I can be but the best person I can be.”
