We invest in the latest and best equipment available to get the job done right. Whether it concerns safety, customer service or the work we do on the job site, S&N is here to advance the wired and wireless communications, gas and electric industries into the future.

A roadside shoulder can look like open space.

Look closer.
Overhead lines. Underground utilities. Traffic. Driveways. Property access. Existing markings. Other crews. The traveling public.

A right-of-way can bring a lot of moving pieces into one shared space and every one of them matters.

Working in these environments requires awareness beyond the immediate task. It means understanding what's around you, recognizing how the work affects others, and staying alert as conditions change throughout the day.

Because in the right-of-way, the work in front of you is only part of the picture.
There's a lot happening here. Pay attention to all of it.

The trucks will move on.
The equipment will leave.
The work zone will come down.
But the infrastructure stays.
That's the perspective that matters.
The systems being built and maintained today will continue serving homes, businesses and communities long after the jobsite disappears.
It means looking beyond today's production and thinking about tomorrow's performance.
Because completing the job is one moment.
What comes after is the responsibility.
We’ve Got This.

The S&N Infrastructure team had a great two days at the Mid-Atlantic Broadband Summit & Fiber Expo in Richmond!

Events like this give our team the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and stay engaged with the continued growth of broadband and fiber infrastructure throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with our team on Monday and Tuesday. We enjoyed the conversations, the connections, and the opportunity to share more about the work S&N Infrastructure is doing to support the networks and communities that depend on reliable infrastructure every day.

We’re looking forward to carrying those conversations forward and continuing to build what’s next.

Damage prevention, industry connections and 24 first-place winners - that’s a day well spent!

S&N Infrastructure was proud to team up with our great partners at WV811 to connect with attendees and share the importance of damage prevention, while showcasing the work our teams perform every day across Fiber Operations, Electrical Distribution and Utility Locating.

S&N Director of Marketing Brian Morehouse also had the honor of sponsoring the children’s cupcake decorating contest but when it came time to choose a winner, he decided one simply wasn’t enough. All 24 participants were declared first-place winners and proudly took home their ribbons!

Our friends at 103.1 joined the fun with a live broadcast, helping make an already great event even better.

We’re proud to support organizations like WV811 that bring our industry and communities together around a shared commitment to safety and damage prevention.

Safe digging starts with 811. The work that follows? We’ve Got This.

We’re proud to announce the well-deserved promotion of Cody Sherron to Vice President of Infrastructure & Expansion.

Cody joined S&N in 2015 as a Site Superintendent, working directly in the field and overseeing the day-to-day ex*****on of our work. Since then, his career has grown alongside the company — progressing from Site Superintendent to Lead Site Superintendent, Area Manager, Project Manager, Director, and now Vice President.

That journey matters.

Cody brings to leadership a firsthand understanding of the work our crews perform, the challenges our field leaders navigate, and the impact strong leadership has on our people, our customers, and our success.

In his new role, Cody will focus on strengthening operations, developing new markets, building lasting customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and helping position S&N for continued growth.

More than a decade after joining S&N, Cody remains deeply committed to the culture that has helped shape his career and our company.

“I’m proud of where I started, proud to have spent more than a decade growing with the S&N family, and excited about where we’re headed next.”

Congratulations, Cody. This promotion reflects years of hard work, leadership, growth, and a willingness to keep taking on what comes next.

Nashville was more than a stop on the calendar - it was an opportunity to connect, learn and strengthen relationships across our industry.

The S&N Infrastructure team wrapped up a great week in Nashville, TN, representing our organization at both the ISE EXPO and the Global Damage Prevention Summit.

At the Global Damage Prevention Summit, our team took part in conversations and sessions centered around damage prevention, heard from industry leaders and connected with professionals who traveled from across the country — including as far as Idaho and Texas.

But some of the most valuable moments happened outside the sessions: catching up with longtime industry friends, making new connections and continuing to build relationships and partnerships throughout Tennessee and beyond.

Two conferences. One great city.

Countless conversations and connections that will continue long after we leave Nashville.

We’re proud to have S&N represented in the rooms where our industries come together to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships and work toward a safer, stronger future.

Until next time, Nashville! 🤝

To most people, it’s a few lines of paint and a handful of flags.
To a utility locator, it’s information that someone else will rely on.

Before a utility is marked, there’s work happening behind the scenes, reviewing available information, evaluating the site, identifying infrastructure, tracing facilities and determining where those facilities need to be accurately communicated above ground.

Because the marks left behind aren’t the end of the process.
They’re information for what happens next.

Excavators, utility crews, property owners and others working in the area may rely on those markings to make informed decisions and work safely around existing infrastructure.

That’s why utility locating demands attention to detail, training, sound judgment and a commitment to doing the work right.

At S&N, we understand the responsibility that comes with every locate.
It may look like paint on the ground.
What it represents matters far beyond the paint.

You flip a switch and the lights come on. Your phone connects. A payment processes. Traffic signals change. A classroom logs on. A business opens for the day. A hospital continues caring for its patients.

Most of the time, we don’t think twice about any of it.
And that’s what dependable infrastructure is supposed to feel like.

Behind those ordinary moments are systems designed, installed, maintained and supported by people whose work often goes unnoticed precisely because everything is working the way it should.

Power distribution. Fiber infrastructure. Underground infrastructure. Utility locating. Design.

Different capabilities. Different work happening above and below ground. All supporting something much bigger than the infrastructure itself: the communities that depend on it.

At S&N Infrastructure, that’s the bigger picture behind what we do.

YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT INFRASTRUCTURE.
THAT’S OUR JOB. AND WE’VE GOT THIS.
