IMPORTANT!
Rumor has it I am not doing lawn care anymore now that I am working for the City. Yes I am working a different job but I AM STILL going to mow and spray yards. I am not taking any landscaping projects but I am continuing with the customers I currently have. I made this change for my family and the new baby on the way no other reasons.

We had a much needed rain days! But now we are a few days behind on mowing and we will get to you asap. Still little wet out there we don’t want to tear up yards or get stuck.

Rolling this yard and over seeding to fix all the mole and grub damage. Grubs feast on grass roots making a yard patchy and weak going into mid late summer. Then the moles tunnel in to a buffet of grubs to eat adding insult to injury. End of June beginning of July it’s necessary to put down a grub control fertilizer. Now this customer did but didn’t get the timing right and these things happen. Unfortunately this also not a guarantee mole prevention either but that’s nature and nature does what it wants.

The conversation I'm not excited to have. As everything else inflation and shortages are making everything more expensive. I am raising my prices this year on a lot of services. For current customers I will be calling or have already.

So why are the prices going up?
You have probably noticed that gas prices have gone up and are continually going up. So mowing prices are going up because of the price of gas and parts. Fertilizer has gone bonkers. Shortage of urea and shipping have driven the price up. Grass seed is in short supply because of last year's weather in the Pacific Northwest where the grass seed is farmed.
So grass seed and fertilizer are not set in stone pricing right now because they are currently rising and it doesn't look like they are stopping any time soon.
