Hello, Team.

JISD has made the decision to close again on Wednesday, January 28 due to poor road conditions. Because of this, we will also be closed.

We will run production on 12-hours shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - both day and night shifts. We will open up Sunday, February 1 to volunteers. More details will be available soon regarding Sunday.

JISD has confirmed they will remained closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th. As such, the plant will remain closed too. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Jacksonville ISD will remain closed on Tuesday, January 27, due to hazardous travel conditions and weather. While some areas are deemed safe, many other rural roads and bridges in our district are not. Please continue to monitor our communication platforms for updates. Stay safe and warm!

Per our inclement weather policy, our Jacksonville, TX location will be closed tomorrow, Friday January 9, 2025❄️

JISD Students & Staff,
Based on an abundance of caution due to the weather’s unpredictability overnight and early morning, we have decided to close school tomorrow. This decision considers the many rural roads involved in our bus routes and the large number of staff members commuting from the north.
The safety of our students, staff, and community remains our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
