You don't know the condition of your roof decking until the old roof is torn off. Unlike many other companies, we don't just ignore and shingle over. We replace these areas because if you don't, the wood won't hold the nails properly and they will be susceptible to wind lift and ripped off in a high wind day.

Another job where it had 3 layers of felt. This means the previous TWO roofers were lazy and deceptive. They likely charged insurance for full rear off to deck but didn't. We ALWAYS tear to the bare wood, inspect for any damaged wood needing replacement, and install fresh over with synthetic felt (not the cheap tar paper). There IS a difference in who does your roof.
